Sometimes you will get the message to install .net framework,for running those applications which require .net Framework to operate.But it becomes quite difficult for us to download and install Microsoft .net Framework online. Windows 8.1 Setup doesn't install the .netFramework,we have to manually install it.

Process:

Step 1: Go on "Search" Option of Windows 8.1 and type cmd


Step 2: Now Right click on "cmd" click on Run as administrator option.


Step 3: Insert your Windows 8.1 Installation Disc in the Drive

Step 4: Now enter the Following command in "cmd"

dism.exe /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFX3 /Source:H:\sources\sxs /LimitAccess

(Note:- Letter "H" in above command is the drive letter in which your Windows 8.1 installation Disc has been inserted.)

Step 5: Just click Enter button after writing the commands.
Wait for a minute and your .net Framework will be installed.
