Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) – Sept 2014
The Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for classes I to VIII on 21.09.2014.
Paper I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V.
Paper II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
Note: A person who intends to be a teacher for both levels (classes I to V and classes VI to VIII) will have to appear in both the papers (Paper I and Paper II).

CTET Applicability:

The CTET shall apply to schools of the Central Government (KVS, NVS, Tibetan Schools, etc) and schools under the administrative control of UT of Chandigarh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Daman & Diu and Dadra & Nagar Haveli and NCT of Delhi.
CTET may also apply to the unaided private schools, who may exercise the option of considering the CTET.
Schools owned and managed by the State Government/local bodies and aided schools shall consider the TET conducted by the State Government. However, a State Government can also consider the CTET if it decides not to conduct the State TET.

Closing Date for CTET Online application: 04.08.2014
Last date for submission/update of fess: 06.08.2014

Online Corrections in Particulars: 12.08.2014 to 19.07.2014
Download CTET Admit Card from the Website w.e.f.: 22.08.2014
Date of CTET Examination: 21.09.2014

Minimum Educational Qualification: Graduation/ Senior secondary (Inter)

CTET 2014 Exam application Fees:
Paper – I or Paper – II: General/OBC – Rs.600/-, SC/ST/Diff. Abled – Rs.300/-
Both Papers – I and II: General/OBC- Rs.1000/-, SC/ST/Diff. Abled- Rs.500/-

The fee can be remitted in the following ways:

  • Through Computer generated Challan by depositing the prescribed fees in CBSE Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank in favour of Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.
  •  By Debit/Credit Card.


How to Apply for CTET sept 2014:

Candidates can apply only On-line for CTET sept 2014. Online Application has to be submitted by accessing the following websites www.cbse.nic.in or www.ctet.nic.in . The candidate should supply all the details while filling up the ‘On-line’ Application.
